Dr. Arpita Biswas, Registered Psychologist
Dr. Arpita Biswas is Registered Psychologist and her qualifications include a Masters and a Ph.D. in Psychology. She is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario, which regulates the provision of psychological services, and a member of the Ontario Psychological Association, which is a voluntary organization, committed to the advancement of the practice of psychology.
Dr. Biswas has over eighteen years of experience of providing psychological services and have worked with clients in diverse settings, including private practice, community centres, academic institutions and hospital settings. She is extensively trained in cognitive–behavioural therapy and has published many research articles in the area of cognitive –behavioural therapy.
In addition to maintaining a private practice she currently works as a psychologist in the Health and Wellness Centre of University of Toronto at Scarborough. In her clinical practice she provides evidence–based psychotherapies and psychological assessments and can help clients in dealing with varied issues including:
