Blanca Cabrera-Vera
Blanca is a mental health professional who provides psychological services under the supervision of a registered psychologist.
Blanca Cabrera-Vera, M.A. received her "Licenciature" (B.Hns.) degree in Psychology from Mexico and has her Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Toronto. She has completed one year of training in Family Therapy at the George Hull Centre in Etobicoke, another year of training in Working with Families, and a third in Working with Abusive Men. She is constantly assisting Symposiums and Conventions pertaining to reviewing current research findings in her areas of interest. Blanca is a part-time instructor of Psychology in the Continuing Education Program at Sheridan College’s Brampton and Mississauga Campuses.
Blanca has been in private practice for over six years in the Brampton area. Her areas of experience are Individual, Couple, Family and Group Counselling and Psychotherapy. Her primary areas of interest include: Couple and Family Disharmony, Improper Communication, Sexual Difficulties, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Poor Social Skills, Low Self-Esteem, Anger Problems, and the inability to find meaning in life.
