Doreen Birchmore
Doreen Birchmore is a mental health professional who provides psychological services under the supervision of a registered psychologist.
Doreen is a psychotherapisst with a Masters in Education (Counselling Specialty). She is a registered nurse and has a diploma in addiction counselling from George Brown College.
She has over 25 years experience doing individual, couple and family counselling. She is also a skilled group therapist.
She is presently working with clients with eating disorders, and has many years experience working in all aspects of the field of addiction. She began the first women's group at the Donwood Institute and has written and published on women's issues and addiction.

Doreen is a member of the Ontario Society of Psychotherapists (O.S.P. ) and is a 'Fellow' of the Canadian Group Psychotherapy Association (C.G.P.A.). She has been chair of the Toronto section of the C.G.P.A and has been on the training committee for several years.
