Dr. Deborah Azoulay, Registered Psychologist
Dr. Deborah Azoulay is registered as a psychologist by the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy. D.) is from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois. She also has a Masters of Art in School Psychology from the university of Toronto (OISE) and worked in psychology in the school system for many years. Dr. Azoulay trained in a number of different hospitals and mental health facilities in the Toronto area and completed her doctoral internship at Whitby Mental Health Centre. She has published in the field of psychology and has taught at the the Adler School of Psychology in Toronto.
Dr. Azoulay is a staff psychologist in the Mental Health Program at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in addition to maintaining a private practice. In her practice she works with adults, adolescents and children (individuals and couples) who experience depression, anxiety, panic and stress, trauma recovery, posttraumatic stress, anger problems, relationship difficulties. She also provides full psychological and psychoeducational assessments. Dr. Azoulay is also trained in the use of EMDR for treating distressing memories.
