Jim is a mental health professional who provides psychological services under the supervision of a registered psychologist.

Jim Harkins the Executive Director of FAST (Family Adolescent Straight Talk) has the experience, qualifications and successful track record to work with these troubled adults, youth & families.

He has over 15 years experience and certifications through the Canadian Society of Counselors and Therapists (Certified Addictions Counselor, 2nd level), the National Addiction Intervention Association (Certified Addictions Drug Counselor) and the National Gambling Counseling Certification Board (Certified Gambling Counselor). Also, he is a Certified Employee Assistance Program Counselor through McMaster University.

His expertise and proven program success has helped him forge close working relationships with school teachers and principles, police officers and social workers, medical professionals and agencies providing similar youth, adult and family programs, and parents who's youth are struggling with substance abuse. His expertise has also directly contributed to the outstanding success in the programs since incorporation.
