Patricia Davies
Patricia is a mental health professional who provides psychological services under the supervision of a registered psychologist.
Patricia Davies has a degree in psychology from York University, is a Graduate Addictions Counsellor and a member of the Ontario Association of Counsellors, Consultants, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists. She is an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counsellor, Internationally Certified Clinical Supervisor, an Internationally Certified Problem Gambling Counsellor and a trained Trauma Counsellor.
Patricia provides counselling/therapy for individuals, couples and families in a confidential, supportive environment to address lifestyle, relationship, self- esteem and other issues. She specializes in addictions and problem gambling.
Patricia says, “I believe in the ability of individuals and families to recover from the prison of addiction, to find new meaning in life and rewards in lifestyle change. It is a privilege to help facilitate the process.
Patricia assisted individuals, families and employers with substance abuse, problem gambling and trauma issues, in anintensive treatment setting, for over 20 years. She was responsible for the ongoing design and delivery of the problemgambling program, was actively involved in the ongoing aftercare program and provided individual counselling/therapy and group therapyservices.
Patricia continues to co-facilitate a weekly support group for police officers she began several years ago and to provide individual counselling/therapy for members of various police services and their families.
