Stephen Hambly
Stephen is a mental health professional who provides psychological services under the supervision of a registered psychologist.
Stephen Hambly graduated with a D.Phil in Clinical Bio-feedback. Thesis: "Control of Heart-Rate Deceleration using 2 Feedback Systems", a Ph.D in Psychology and Social Work with a D.R.E. He has an M.A. in Counselling and Human Relations and did graduate work and has a B.A. in Psychology. Stephen is the holder of 7 Honorary Doctorate Degrees including D.D. and D. Litt.
Stephen interned at a Montreal Hospital in Bio-feedback and in Counselling/Adult Education at a Psychiatric Hospital. He is a Certified Psychotherapist D-C.P.C. under Federal license (CDN) #1002 since 1982 with the Christian Clinical Pastoral Counsellors and is a founding member of the Canadian Association for Transformational Therapy.
Stephen is currently a Psychology Department Dean in charge of administering courses in counselling, social work, and human relations. He has lectured at various academic programs.
For 30 years Stephen was the Academic Director/Examiner at the University of Toronto External Division of the Canadian Credit Institutes 3-year Psychology Program which led to the M.C.I. and F.C. designations.
