Biography

Catherine practices counselling and therapy in Guelph under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Registered Psychological Associate who are members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

Catherine Cameron brings 27 years of experiene working with children, adolescents, adults and families. She has a degree in Clinical Behavioural Sciences and a diploma in Child & Youth Counselling and recently completed certification in Focusing Oriented Therapy (Client Centered/Experiential). She has additional training in Trauma Loss & Bereavement and has obtained certification in Critical Incident and Stress Management as well as Advanced Critical Internship for Sexual Abuse Survivors. Catherine applies an eclectic therapeutic approach in her practice to assist clientele in dealing with a wide range of personal challenges, Anxiety, Depression, Self Esteem, Relationship Difficulties, Parenting Struggles with children and teens, as well as Trauma and Abuse.

Catherine especially enjoys working with children and has an extensive background in childhood disorders, behavioural difficulties and social skills deficits.
