Biography
I practice counselling and therapy in Niagara Falls under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Registered Psychological Associate who are members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at King's University (Alberta) and earned a Master's degree in Counselling from Providence Seminary (Manitoba).
You may be considering counselling because you find yourself in a problem situation that you would like to handle better. Counselling can help you acknowledge and work through difficult thoughts and emotions, develop personal insight, manage your current problem situation more effectively and empower you to face future challenges.
After exploring the nature of the current problem, we will focus primarily on identifying and developing your personal strengths and unused resources, setting goals, and then taking steps that will help shape a better future for you and for those around you. In other words, we will work together to create solutions that will make a positive difference in a short time.
You can expect high standards of professional and ethical conduct, empirically-based treatment, a non-judgmental, confidential and safe place for you to share your concerns, as well as a collaborative working environment — together we will explore your issue and choose the counselling approach (cognitive-behavioral, etc.) that best suits you.
