Biography

Annette Bradshaw practices counseling and psychotherapy at the Toronto Healing Arts Centre, under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Registered Psychological Associate who are members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

Annette Bradshaw has a B.Sc. in Psychology from McMasterUniversity and an M.A. in Counselling Psychology from Union Institute & University. She is a member of CAPT and has been in private practice for over 8 years. Her approach is holistic, drawing upon clinical, psychodynamic, humanistic, existential, and spiritual traditions.

Her services include guiding clients in the exploration of their issues and themselves, both within their psyche and in their life. She facilitates new perspectives, and offers tools, so that clients can realize success in all areas of their lives, along with a broader and deeper understanding of themselves.

Related to counselling, Annette has worked with social services agencies in the community as a facilitator for: violence awareness and prevention workshops; immigrant integration services; and counseling skills workshops. She has also worked with employers using her CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management) training. She provides employee counseling services to employers and works with an agency as a practitioner for trauma cases. Her previous career was in human resources.

Over the years, Annette attended ongoing continuing education through conferences, workshops, and courses. She has extensive volunteer experience with children, families, agencies and other institutions. She participates in various cultural and spiritual communities. As a parent, she currently spends her time in family and school interests, and kundalini yoga practice.

Her office is quiet and cozy, and close to the subway and parking. She looks forward to the opportunity of working with you.
