Susan Blackburn
Susan is a mental health professional who provides psychological services under the supervision of a registered psychologist.
Susan Blackburn is a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP). She has a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology, a B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology and a B.Sc. in Business.
Susan has published research on depression and her experience includes counselling and psychotherapy with adults in a number of settings. Her clinical expertise includes Adlerian, cognitive behavioural, emotion-focused and client-centred psychotherapy as well as career and personality assessments.
As a therapist, mother, and former director of a graduate-level private school, Susan understands the challenges facing career-committed professionals, family-oriented individuals and those seeking change for personal improvement. She uses her unique blend of business, entrepreneurial and psychology experience to work collaboratively with her clients to uncover their strengths, gain insight and achieve their goals for overall health.
